Celebrity Big Brother viewers were left flocking to social media to call out Chris Hughes' 'blunder' that made them question if he'd had contact with the outside world.

The former Love Island star-turned-racing presenter is among the famous faces to have recently swapped their freedom for life in the famous compound as part of the ITV reality show's 2025 run.

Chris is among the six people to have made the final, which takes place live on Friday night (April 25) after surviving a triple eviction earlier this week alongside drag queen Danny Beard.

It means they'll face Chesney Hawkes, Jack P Shepherd, JoJo Siwa and Donna Preston in the final vote, with fans asked to choose their favourite and who they want to see crowned CBB 2025 champion.

There were emotional scenes during the penultimate episode of the series on Thursday night (April 25) as the remaining celebrities received their letters from home, the first time they've been able to speak to them in almost three weeks.

But it was in the same episode that Chris asked Coronation Street star Jack a question that baffled those watching at home. Referencing last week's Blue Origin space flight, which saw singer Katy Perry joining an all-female team for a controversial launch, Chris quizzed Jack on his thoughts about outer space.

The 32-year-old asked the actor if he would "ever go into space like Katy Perry did," admitting he'd be too scared. Jack, 37, was seemingly puzzled by the whole idea.

However, Chris' knowledge of the trip confused some viewers, as Big Brother housemates are supposed to be cut off from the outside world.

However, others argued he'd have known about it before going into the house as the space trip was already public knowledge. @cqmerqn posted: "Why are people so shocked that Chris knew about Katy’s long planned trip to space? She didn’t just depart Earth spontaneously #CBBUK."

@deventertainmentmusicai shared: "Everyone asking how he knew like it wasn't news for months and the show started a week before she "went to space" so he would of known she was going very soon."
