Coronation Street fans think they have 'worked out' how Mick Michaelis will leave Weatherfield as they've also been left pondering who could be the one to bring him down.

The new character arrived on the cobbles just after his wife Lou back in February. The new couple were previously revealed as part of a new family set to shake things up for the other residents on the Street.

‌

Corrie fans saw Mick and Lou moving into Mawdsley Street at the back of Chesney and Gemma's house, which is the first time ever Corrie have extended the serial drama across the ginnel in a history-making move for the popular show.

With their young children going to the same school, Lou quickly made a friend in Gemma Winter-Brown But unbeknownst to the Rovers Return barmaid and her husband Chesney at the time, Mick was the wild van man who had been terrorising Chesney for months.

The couple have opted to keep quiet about their identity through fear of Mick's actions. And Gemma and Chesney have had their worries about their new neighbour confirmed in recent episodes.

Corrie viewers saw Mick threaten Gemma over his attack on Sean Tully, who got his son Brody into trouble in prison, as he warned her to tell her not to say anything about where he was at the time of the beating.

‌

During Monday night's (April 21) Corrie, Gemma was seen still trying to please Mick and Lou and later, when Sean heard about the their dinner plans, he’s furious with Gemma for 'siding with the enemy'.

Then, in Wednesday's (April 23) episode of the ITV soap, Gemma opened up to Chesney about having messed up "big time" and how Mick terrified her, cornering her at the pub and insisting she'd stick to her story that kept him out of having any involvement in Sean's attack.

‌

Later on, Mick and Lou met with Gemma and Chesney over some cans of beer. Chesney was uncomfortable as Mick gave out his orders in their home to both Gemma and Lou. With the two women out of the room, Mick said Gemma was a "feisty one".

Chesney tried to stick up for his wife, saying she was a fantastic partner and mother, but was clearly intimidated by his neighbour. "She's been getting on the wrong side of me lately, mate," Mick told a stunned Chesney. "You wanna rein her in a bit. For everyone's sake, yeah?" he added.

Now, Corrie fans have been sharing their thoughts on social media who could be the one to bring the bullying character down, while also predicting how he may eventually leave the cobbles after it was confirmed actor Joe Layton only signed for a short stint with an explosive exit on the cards.
