Emma Willis looks sensational as she's seen for first time after heart surgery reveal

The presenter was joined alongside her husband Matt Willis just hours after she revealed she's undergone keyhole heart surgery

Emma Willis put on a sensational appearance as she stepped out after revealing her heart surgery shock.

The presenter was joined alongside her husband Matt Willis as they attended the BAFTA TV Craft Award nominees' party at The V&A in London on Thursday night (April 25).

The couple's appearance on the red carpet came after Emma said the Busted singer 'never left her side' as she discovered she had a hole in her heart she was never aware of.

On Wednesday (April 24), Emma shared a selection of photos to her Instagram, including one of her in a hospital bed with wires attached to her chest.

She wrote alongside the post: "A big humongous THANK YOU to the team at the Royal Brompton Hospital for their care and support. A few weeks ago, I had keyhole heart surgery, which feels very strange to write, and even stranger when I say it out loud.

"From investigations last year, to diagnosis and then surgery, they were absolutely incredible. As was @mattjwillis who never left my side.

"Turns out, I’ve been pottering around for 48 years blissfully unaware I had a hole in my heart isn’t it bonkers what’s happening in our bodies that we have no idea about…

"What blows my mind even more is the wonders of modern medicine, and the spectacular people that save, fix and help us every single day. Can you imagine what it must feel like to have a pair of hand that can do that job?! They are the real superstars…"

She went on to thank her surgeon, who "was recommended as ‘a spectacular pair of hands'". She added: "I knew as soon as we met that she was the woman I wanted poking around in my heart. Thank you Ee Ling, you’re one in a trillion."

After sharing her news, Emma and Matt hit the red carpet. Emma looked incredible as she flashed her abs in a black bandeaux crop top and matching patterned trousers and a blazer.

Emma added a pair of towering heels to her look and accessorised with a chunky silver chain necklace. Musician Matt coordinated with his wife in a smart black suit and matching open collar shirt.

The couple looked in good spirits as they posed together for the waiting cameras as the star-studded event. Then later in the evening, Matt and Emma were reported to be all smiles as they left the party holding hands.
