Emmerdale fans rumble Mackenzie 'framed' for John Sugden attack
Mackenzie has been getting closer to John Sugden's secrets
Emmerdale fans think Mackenzie Boyd will end up "framed" for John Sugden's attack on Liam Cavanagh after exposing his lie.
During Friday's (April 25) instalment, Mack was in danger as John set his sights on revenge. Thinking he had followed Mack, he readied himself with a plank of wood, prepared to hit him on the head.
Watching the figure behind a door, John swung. As the body fell to the ground, it was revealed that it was Liam who had taken the blow instead.
John watched from afar as Mack pulled up moments later and spotted Liam bleeding out on the ground. After Mack rang Chas, her and Aaron ran into John and told him the news asking for his help.
Attempting to clear them from the scene, John had no such luck as everyone followed. Liam remembered nothing, apart from hitting the ground.
Mackenzie snarkily responded: "hero John saves the day again" causing Aaron to question what the problem with that is.
John then chuckled when Mack asked him if he thought he did this, with John then trying to place the blame on Ella Forster.
As the episode ended, Aaron and John attempted to patch things up in their relationship, but now fans think Mack is in danger.
The only two flashforwards that remain to be seen are Cain Dingle stood by an unknown grave and Mack running through the woods away from someone or something.
Viewers have theorised that Mack will end up running from John as he tries to keep him quiet. In the meantime, however, some believe he will be framed for the Liam attack.
On a Facebook fan page, one viewer wrote: "We all know that mack will get the blame. He finds him after John hits Liam so John will say he saw mack do it"
Another viewer replied: "John there yet again to save the day, lining up for Mack to get the blame. How long until Mack gets too suspicious?"
Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
