Greater Manchester's latest property hotspot areas have been revealed - with five parts of the region where house prices are soaring. Prices are continuing to rise across Britain, with the average price of a home having gone up by more £5,000 this month alone, says Rightmove.

The average asking price for a newly listed property now sits at a record high of £377,182, marking a 1.4 percent increase from March's average of £371,870.

‌

House prices in Greater Manchester have gone up by 4 percent this year, taking the average house price to £269,832. However, there are certain parts of the region where prices are climbing by much larger amounts.

Price rises in a certain area usually indicate that demand is outweighing supply, and properties are therefore becoming more sought-after.

Our exclusive analysis of the latest Land Registry data has now revealed the five postcode areas where house prices are rising the most.
