Manchester United midfielder Ella Toone has admitted that she would like to enter I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here at some stage in the future.

Toone, who has bagged four goals and two assists in 15 WSL appearances this season, would follow in the footsteps of her former England teammate Jill Scott if she was to enter the jungle. Scott did exceptionally well when she entered in 2022, being crowned the Queen of the Jungle which launched her punditry career after retirement.

‌

While at 25 Toone still has plenty of playing days ahead of her, she has admitted to The Telegraph that she would want to join the ITV show. "I wanna go on I’m a Celeb. I don’t think I’ll be as good as Jill, who won it, but I’ve always said it," she admitted.

"When I was younger, it was Blue Peter and I’m a Celeb… and Total Wipeout. I did Blue Peter the other day and I was over the moon getting my Blue Peter badge.

"It actually felt better than winning the Euros." In the show, which is hosted by Ant and Dec just before the build-up to Christmas, celebrities enter the camp and have to complete challenges known as 'Bushtucker Trials' along the way.

Eventually, one of the campmates is voted as the King or Queen of the Jungle by the British public. When asked what her biggest fear would be heading into the camp, Toone was reluctant to admit it.

"If I tell you and then I go on it and they make me do it," she laughed. "The drinking challenges… I can’t even swallow a tablet without gagging."
