Police are 'increasingly concerned' for the welfare of a missing 75-year-old pensioner from Stockport. Carole, whose surname was not disclosed, was reported as missing on Tuesday night (April 22).

She was last seen at around 7.30pm on Aldwyn Avenue in the Hazel Grove area of Stockport. A picture of her was shared as part of a public appeal.

‌

Carole is described as a white female, 5ft 2ins tall, of a slim build and with short, straight grey hair. She is thought to be wearing sunglasses, an all-black waterproof top, black trousers and white trainers.

She is also carrying a bag with a white stripe on it, Greater Manchester Police said. Anyone with information is being urged to contact officers immediately.

An appeal shared by the force read: "Have you seen Carole (75) from Stockport? Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about her and want to make sure she is safe and well.

‌

"If you see Carole, please call police on 101 quoting log 3536 of 22/04/25."
