Primark has announced a new change coming to a number of its stores which will look to make it easier for shoppers to pick up new items in-store.

The retailer has revealed the next wave of Primark stores which will be offering Click and Collect.

‌

Shoppers will now be able to access Click and Collect services at the 24 new stores from 16 April.

The service will allow shoppers to order clothing and homeware through the Primark website before picking up their items from their nearest Click and Collect store.

This will further give shoppers the opportunity to pick up new and expanded ranges which may not be stocked in their local store.

This follows the retailer’s announcement in April last year that they would aim to roll out Click and Collect services to all its stores in England, Scotland and Wales by the end of 2025.

‌

More than three quarters of Primark stores currently have the Click and Collect service and Primark expects to achieve its rollout to all 187 of its stores across Great Britain by this summer.

Kari Rodgers, UK Retail Director at Primark, said: “We’re delighted to reveal the next wave of stores to offer Click & Collect, giving more customers the chance to shop online from the great ranges they know and love before collecting in store.”

She added: “With summer in sight, it’s just one way we’re making it even easier for everyone to get their summer wardrobe essentials.”

‌

Since launching the service, 158 Primark stores now offer Click and Collect.

Primark's ongoing rollout of the service is part of the retailer’s aims to give shoppers greater convenience and choice within their shopping habits.

The initiative also looks to encourage more shoppers to return to the high street after the increase in online shopping.

Over the coming months the retailer will look to roll out Click and Collect services to stores in Scotland as well as in the north east and south of England.
