Several injured after crash involving bus and car with major road closed
Tyldesley Road is closed in both directions
Several people have been injured in a collision between a car and a bus.
Emergency services raced to the A577 Tyldesley Road at around 12pm on Saturday (April 19). The road has been taped off in both directions between Hamilton Street and Shuttle Street as police work to clear the scene.
The Manchester Evening News understands 'several' people have been injured. It is not yet clear exactly how many, nor how serious those injuries are.

The road remains closed in both directions, with emergency services on the scene.
In a post on Facebook, Councillor James Fish wrote: "Tyldesley Road is currently closed due to a Road Traffic Collision.
"Road closures are between Hamilton Street and Shuttle Street."
Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for more information.
