An investigation is ongoing
Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a man they wish to speak to in connection with a theft in Manchester.
Officers investigating the theft of a parcel on Stockport Road, in Longsight, have released a CCTV image.
Greater Manchester Police says the man could have vital information to help officers with their investigation.
The incident took place at 9am on Saturday, March 29. No arrests have been made so far and enquiries are ongoing.
Inspector Natalie McDonald, from GMP’s Manchester Central neighbourhood team, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident after it was reported to us.
"After exploring lines of evidence, including CCTV and conducting door-to-door enquiries we have identified a person who we would like to identify and speak to in connection with this incident.
"We appreciate the image is not of the best quality, but if anyone has any information, please call 0161 856 3481 or 101 quoting incident 660 of March 31, 2025.
"Alternatively, details can be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
